With several different parks in the neighborhood - all within walking distance of one another, each park has a different style and unique scenery. We've provided a short description of parks beginning at Inman Park Village.
The nearest park is located on the north side of Inman Park Village alongside Lake Ave. The park itself wraps around a naturally landscaped pond with two fountains. Built as part of the IPV development, it provides residents and pets a great place to relax, romp around or soak up some sunshine.
Elizabeth Street - Just around the corner is a more secluded park that traverses the length of a small valley that runs from Elizabeth St. to Edgewood Ave. It has a jungle gym for kids and a stocked pond. This park tends to see a little less activity. Most mornings you can see a lone blue heron surveying the pond for breakfast.
Hale St & Euclid Ave - On the corner of Hale St. and Euclid is a big park with open fields. There are swings and play ground equipment in one area and the rest is natuarally segmented into three large fields. With old growth trees, changing elevations and wide open spaces this seems to be a family favorite.
Austin Ave. & Sinclair - This park runs between Euclid and North Highland with a a bike/walking path leading to Freedom Park. With old growth trees and rolling hills it connects to Freedom Park.
Freedom Park - Freedom Park spans several intown neighborhoods including Inman Park. It has a great biking/walking path that gives residents options to take longer loops for exercise and intown errands. Freedom Park’s elevation permits great views of the city skyline on one side with an expansive view of Inman Park’s rich tree line on the other.
